Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT team. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT guided procedures, and educate patients about procedures to ensure comfort.

Shifts are nights, 5x12 hours, 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other Sunday weekends. Biweekly 60 hours and on-call duties apply. A Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT, ARRT CT credential within one year, Ohio Radiographer license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• BLS certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe and supportive care environment during CT procedures and assists radiologists and nursing staff.
• Performs a variety of CT imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Works both independently and as part of the CT team, with on-the-spot critical thinking.
