Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center’s Radiology Department in Cleveland seeks a skilled CT Technologist to join nights. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and ensure safe, accurate exams for trauma, stroke, cancer patients.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, CT credential within one year, BLS, and ability to work under pressure with a collaborative CT team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images across a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking in challenging cases.
• Effective communication within the CT team and with other care staff.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
