Job summary

Atrium Health's Davie Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a radiologic technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in Radiology: Xray. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3pm with occasional weekends and holidays.

Graduates of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology programs who are registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year and BLS certification are encouraged to apply; sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and positions the patient correctly.
• Maintains records as required by departmental standards.
