Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and refer to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review medical history and correlate with exam results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment malfunctions.
• Rotate shifts and adhere to hospital attendance policies.

Education

Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire
