Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.

The role involves documenting imaging details, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Critical thinking and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and operate PC systems proficiently.
• Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients.
• Effective teamwork and professionalism.
• Visual acuity and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs.
• Preparing patients, explaining procedures, and positioning them safely.
• Setting technical parameters and adhering to safety standards.
• Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Documenting patient data, imaging details, and procedural information.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services.
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
• Adapting to different CT protocols and equipment across healthcare settings.
