Job summary

Atrium Health in Lincolnton, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT exams per department protocols. You will operate CT scanners, post-processing software, IV contrast injectors, and monitoring equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, documenting history, coordinating with radiologists, managing radiation safety, and supporting care teams during procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Capable of operating CT scanners and associated equipment per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exams.
• Identify patient and explain procedures; obtain history.
• Review EMR to obtain pertinent clinical history.
• Operate CT scanners and post-processing stations with proficiency.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
