Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures, administer contrast material, and coordinate patient flow within a busy imaging department.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree or Radiologic Technology certificate, active radiologic licensure in Illinois, and ARRT CT certification within 1 year, with BLS due within 30 days and 1+ year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA) is required.
• ARRT CT registration within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• 1+ year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and multiplanar reformats per department protocol.
• Administer IV and oral/rectal contrast as appropriate and monitor for reactions.
• Screen patients for pregnancy and respond to adverse reactions.
• Ensure patient, staff and environmental safety; document incidents as needed.
• May support CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator duties in absence.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with workflow and PACS transfers.
