Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapting procedures under radiologist direction. You will prepare patients, ensure imaging quality, and maintain equipment knowledge for CT 1 and CT 2 operations.

The role requires ARRT CT certification within 1 year, radiography registration, and BLS within 30 days. A strong commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year and ARRT radiography (R) registration.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (IEMA/JCAHO) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with clinical excellence and accuracy.
• Adapt procedures for specific diagnostic results under radiologist direction.
• Operate CT equipment, maintain safety, and document findings.
• Assist radiologist with invasive procedures and ordering labs as needed.
• Ensure patient flow, timely reports, and proper data entry in HIS STAR Radiology.
• Uphold QA/QC programs and maintain a safe environment.
