Qualifications

• Registered in CT within 1 year by ARRT.
• Registered in Radiography (R) by ARRT and current licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA) per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency per department policies.
• Operate CT equipment and related hardware/software to ensure quality images.
• Deviate from standard procedures when patient condition requires radiologist guidance.
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures, manage sterile setup and timing.
• Document exam data, contrast reactions, start/stop times and films in HIS STAR system.
• Maintain patient safety, cleanliness and supply levels in the imaging area.
