AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform high-quality examinations and ensure patient safety. You will review histories, administer IV contrast, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities include documenting in EMR/PACS, following infection control protocols, and educating patients on procedures.

• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations.
• Ability to learn Radiology software packages and EMR.
• Ability to follow department policies and procedures.
• Maintain registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.

Responsabilités

• Performs high‑quality CT examinations in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and potential contraindications.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast safely and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Positions patients accurately while maintaining radiation safety and ALARA.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams for continuity of care.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about exams and maintains workflow efficiency.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, adapting protocols for all ages.
• Follows infection control and PPE guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
