AdventHealth in Fruitland Park, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, review patient history, and administer IV contrast while ensuring radiation safety and timely patient care. You will work with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging, maintain EMR/PACS documentation, and educate patients about exams.

• Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners (Required).

• CT safety and radiation safety knowledge (Required).
• Knowledge of workstations and PACS (Required).
• Proficiency reading, writing and speaking English (Required).
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Required).
• Ability to learn radiology software packages, scanners, workstations, and EMR (Required).
• Ability to follow department policies and maintain required registries/licenses (Required).
• Maintain imaging competence including patient positioning and equipment operation (Required).

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Position patients safely and effectively while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for accurate imaging and patient care continuity.
• Document findings accurately in EMR and PACS.
• Educate patients about the exam and ensure timely completion of exams.
• Maintain infection control standards and PPE usage.
