Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures under radiologist supervision in Minnesota. The role emphasizes patient interaction, safety, and accurate documentation within a busy imaging department.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration and BLS certification, with preferred cardiac CT experience for certain locations. This casual position includes 8/12-hour day/evening/night shifts and occasional weekends, with holiday rotation in a non-union setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration is required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or in-house training within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures following physician orders and department guidelines
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents the procedure details
• Maintains safe patient environment and communicates with patients during procedures
• Gathers information to aid interpretation of images and ensures images transfer to PACS
• Uses Excellian/Enterprise Medical Imaging system and documents post-procedure activities
• Supports team and communicates issues or ideas as needed
• Other duties as assigned
