Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN, is hiring a CT Technologist to join the imaging team at Fairview East Bank University Hospital. This .6 FTE position works Thursday to Sunday, 8 PM to 8 AM, Week 2 off. The technologist creates high-quality diagnostic images and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with ARRT standards.

The role requires ARRT Radiology Tech certification and BLS, with opportunities for growth and a prorated sign-on bonus based on experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech certification is required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs excellent patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Participates in creating a culture of patient safety
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
• Verify patient identification and documentation
• Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
• Ensures patient data integrity
