Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform cross-sectional CT imaging and patient care in an evenings shift schedule (12:30pm–11:00pm). The role involves preparing patients, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring image quality and safety.

The position supports a team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care in a long-standing urban hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT RT(R) credentialed in good standing.
• CT Certification (ARRT) within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT imaging and patient care at defined levels for patients of all ages.
• Check and prepare patients prior to CT study.
• Acquire chart data/requisition and verify correct room setup and contraindications.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Maintain CT area and documentation; manage PACS images.
• Assist with contrast media administration as allowed.
• Observe equipment for issues and report problems.
