Job summary

Weekend days, 9am–9:30pm, offer a dynamic schedule and growth potential. Applicants should have ARRT RT(R) certification, CT certification within one year, BLS, and a solid understanding of anatomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT(R) RT credentialed in good standing.
• CT certification within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.
• Verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.
