Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General as an MRI Technologist on the Evening + Call shift. You will perform routine MRI exams across ages, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the imaging process. This role offers growth with the latest MRI technologies and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

You will work 2nd shift, FT, 4-10s, with some weekend coverage. You will review referrals, conduct QA, educate patients, mentor new staff, and collaborate with the radiology team to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT MR credential (or equivalent) in good standing; MR certification required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
• Perform MRI procedures per protocol and conduct daily QA.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment and exams.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Report malfunctions and observe equipment problems; request service when needed.
• Maintain high equipment uptime for patient access.
• Process billing via RIS.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
• Attend in-service programs and professional sessions.
