Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• State licensure in WV or as applicable (MD/OH/PA/WV).
• ARRT/NMTCB CT certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• State/federal background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room and equipment for patient exams with sterile technique.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history per protocol.
• Transport and assist patients; monitor for changes during exams.
• Document patient status and protocol variances in the chart.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and proper film labeling for quality imaging.
• Practice safe radiation exposure and general safety for patients and staff.
• Participate in patient safety training and reporting of errors.
• Produce diagnostic-quality CT images and ensure appropriate technique.
• May perform CT studies with mobile radiographic equipment when ordered.
• Provide care tailored to neonatal through geriatric patients.
