Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a CSU Mechanical and Indirect Superintendent for the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine project in Cheyenne, WY. You will assist the Commissioning Manager, oversee mechanical systems, and coordinate with electrical disciplines to achieve startup and initial operation.

The role requires leading mechanical commissioning efforts, prioritizing craft work, and ensuring testing from component to integrated facility is completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 10–13 or 14–17 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience delivering large-scale combined cycle power projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates startup-related engineering, construction, and client activities.
• Plans, procedures, schedules, and budgets for scope.
• Sets up progress reporting framework and guides team.
• Directs craft supervision and allocates work to meet deadlines.
• Provides technical advice and resolves questions in area of specialty.
• Prepares system testing and turnover documentation.
