Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Civil-Structural Superintendent for the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The role may start in Reston, VA to support preconstruction, with long-term assignment to the Cheyenne site, contingent on project awards.

You will lead the civil-structural supervision team, oversee craft personnel, cost and schedule, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance within budget and scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related technical discipline, with 5–8 years of relevant experience (or 9–12 years without a degree).
• Experience on combined cycle facilities preferred.
• Computer literate with knowledge of codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Directs civil-structural construction for precast structures, rebar, steel, and siding/roofing.
• Monitors area expenditures and ensures operations stay within budget.
• Develops and enforces project plans including safety, QA, and environmental plans.
• Reviews methods, schedules, manning, and material requirements.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and field teams to align with project goals.
