Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; must obtain certification with CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA within 12 months.
• Experience in Central Sterile Processing and familiarity with instrument tracking systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced health-care environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly facilitates shift operations and supervises CSP technicians.
• Act as point-of-contact for OR triage and instrumentation needs across 50+ clinics.
• Monitor work logs and ensure daily accuracy per national standards.
• Oversee instrument decontamination, prep, packaging, sterilization, and storage tasks.
• Collaborate with Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Services as needed.
• Support staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
