Job summary

University of Washington Tacoma’s Center for Student Involvement seeks a Program Assistant to support student programs funded by the Services and Activities Fee. You’ll assist with office operations, event setup, and budgeting tasks in the UWY Student Center and Dawg House.

The role emphasizes customer service, organizational skills, and independent decision-making while collaborating with staff, student workers, and external partners to ensure smooth events and accurate financial processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students and visitors and staff support.
• Manage front desk coverage and inquiries at UW Tacoma.
• Maintain inventory, re-order supplies, and file documents.
• Assist with staff calendars and mail handling.
• Update department websites as needed.
