Job summary

LMR Technical Group is seeking a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to join our team in Portland, Oregon, supporting the 125th Special Tactics Squadron Human Performance Program. The CSCS will design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based strength, conditioning, and performance programs for 125 STS operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, strength and conditioning, human performance, or a closely related field.
• Current CSCS certification through NSCA.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance and meet installation eligibility. US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized and group strength and conditioning programs aligned to Special Tactics mission demands.
• Conduct physical performance assessments, interpret results, provide operator feedback, and adjust programming based on data.
• Develop remote training plans when requested and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with Human Performance Program staff and medical personnel to support integrated operator care and return-to-duty objectives.
• Document service encounters and provide program data per contract timelines and government procedures.
