Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with minimum 18 graduate semester hour credits in IT/CS.
• Doctoral degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field with minimum 18 graduate semester hour credits.
• Three years relevant IT industry experience in object-oriented programming and/or database management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and teach computer science courses designed for transfer and support of career-technical programs focusing on programming and database management.
• Advise students and collaborate with 4-year educational partners to ensure transferability of courses.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevancy and employability outcomes.
• Maintain quality instruction and actively participate in college-wide initiatives and requirements.
