Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to complete basic mathematics and read measuring devices to perform assembly tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a wide assortment of products or components using instructions, parts lists, drawings, and verbal guidance.
• Position components with hand tools (crimpers, pliers, tweezers, screwdrivers).
• Occasionally operate simple equipment.
• Solder and desolder components as needed to complete assemblies.
• Maintain concentration for repetitive tasks across different work stations.

JOB TITLE: Crystal Assembly Operator

LOCATION: Erie, PA

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Prepare quartz crystal and other materials within a variety of product designs, using hand tools, small equipment, and work instructions. Ensure quartz crystal material is prepared to specifications and conduct quality assurance procedures to determine that the materials are free of damage and correctly assembled.

REPORTS TO:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with production/assembly instructions, parts lists, drawings and verbal instructions to assemble a wide assortment of products or components.

• Positions components manually or utilizing a variety of small hand tools, such as crimpers, pliers, tweezers, or screw drivers.

• Occasionally operates simple equipment.

• Solder and de-solder components/parts from the product at times will be required to assemble the final product or component.

• Requires ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on highly repetitive tasks.

• Works at differentwork stationsas production needs require.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED is required

• IPC J-STD-001 Certification for “Requirements for Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies”

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions

• Ability to complete basic mathematics problems and know how to read measuring devices to perform required assembly tasks
