Job summary

Prepare, assemble and inspect quartz crystals and associated materials for production, ensuring all components meet precise specifications and quality standards.

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Assemble a wide assortment of products/components by reading and interpreting parts lists, drawings and written and verbal instructions.
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance procedures and inspections to ensure compliance with work instructions and drawings.
• Position components by hand or by utilizing a variety of small hand tools, such as crimpers, pliers, tweezers, or screw drivers.
• Operate simple equipment occasionally.
• Provide support across different workstations to meet production demands.
• Tasks performed in Clean Room/Chem Lab require specific PPE to be worn properly at all times.
• Requires strong concentration and focus for repetitive tasks combined with the ability to shift attention between varied duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to work within a variety of Microsoft Office products and other computer software applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to read and interpret measuring devices to perform assembly tasks. Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.

Prior experience in a lab or clean room, use of a microscope, and familiarity with various chemicals is a plus.
