Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC in Erie, PA is seeking an Assembler for the 1st shift to prepare and place electronic components across a range of assemblies for military, aerospace, communications, and medical products.

You will collaborate with fellow assemblers and engineers, follow instructions, and perform quality checks to ensure devices are correctly assembled and free of damage. The role requires attention to detail and basic math, with soldering tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification for “Requirements for Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies” preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
• Ability to complete basic mathematics problems and know how to read measuring devices to perform required assembly tasks
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to work within a variety of Microsoft Office products and other computer software applications

Responsibilities

• Positions components manually, or via hand tools, in order to complete assigned tasks.

JOB TITLE: Assembler

LOCATION: Erie, PA

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Prepare and place electronic components within a variety of product assemblies, supporting customers in the military, aerospace, communications, and medical industries. Work at an assembly station within the manufacturing setting, collaborating with other assemblers and engineers to ensure that devices are assembled according to specifications. You will be required to conduct quality assurance procedures to determine that electronic devices and components are free of damage and correctly assembled.
