Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a senior private credit leader to head originations, underwriting and portfolio management within the crypto private credit platform. You will own sourcing, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management across digital asset borrowers, with strong governance and market execution.

You will build a scalable platform, lead a high-performing team, and partner with Risk, Legal and Capital Formation to articulate strategy and risk to investors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in private credit, direct lending, or related fields.
• Strong underwriting, structuring, covenants, and workouts experience.
• Credible view on blockchain, crypto, Web3 and digital asset collateral.
• Experience leading investment committee processes and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Networks to generate differentiated deal flow.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform: set investment strategy, credit framework and roadmap for scalable growth.
• Source and structure: build a proprietary pipeline across crypto and digital asset businesses; structure bespoke solutions.
• Underwrite and invest: lead diligence, financial analysis, covenant design and memoranda.
• Manage risk: monitor borrower performance, collateral, covenants and concentrations.
• Lead the team: hire, develop and inspire a high-performing investment team.
• Be the market voice: partner with cross-functional teams and translate crypto credit developments into clear investment perspectives.
