Job summary

iTrustCapital in Irvine, California seeks a detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts and client assets across multiple asset classes. You will own daily reconciliations and support system migration projects.

The role requires 2–4+ years in reconciliation or financial operations, strong Excel and SQL skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product. You will join a fast-paced fintech team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or data-related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in reconciliation, financial operations, or a related function within banking or financial services.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and/or financial markets.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL; querying data directly.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation/matching platforms (Gresham, Duco, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive them to completion independently.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute daily reconciliations across various financial accounts, including holdings such as USD, precious metals, digital assets and others.
• Reconcile internal client ledgers against custodian records.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, differentiate timing differences from genuine exceptions, and resolve or escalate with clear outcomes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the breaks and investigations queue; prioritize and drive items to closure.
• Play a key role in system migration and automation projects, including rule configuration, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Identify recurring break patterns and process inefficiencies; propose improvements to management.
• Maintain up-to-date reconciliation procedures, controls documentation, and evidence for audits and regulatory requests.
