Job description

Founded in 2018 by leaders across traditional and alternative finance, iTrustCapital is a digital asset investment platform that allows clients to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in real time, 24/7, through their retirement accounts.

We are an award-winning company and one of the largest crypto IRA platforms in the world. We strive to provide the best technology and experience possible for our clients who invest in cryptocurrencies using their tax-advantaged retirement accounts.

We believe one of the most important parts of an organization is its internal culture. We are a closely-knit team of innovators and game changers collaborating to make a positive impact through our technology. Together we celebrate our wins, learn from our experiences, and our employees feel like they are part of a fintech family.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Reconciliation Analyst to join our financial operations team. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation of accounts and client assets across multiple asset classes and custodians. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and contribute to migrate reconciliation processes into a dedicated matching platform.

What You Will Do:
  • Own and execute daily reconciliations across various financial accounts, including holdings such as USD, precious metals, digital assets and others.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks, ability to differentiate between timing differences and genuine exceptions, and resolve or appropriately elevate issues with clear, well-documented outcomes.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the breaks and investigations queue: prioritize accordingly, drive items to closure, and monitor resolution trends.
  • Play a key role in system migration and automation projects, including rule configuration, testing, validation, and process documentation.
  • Identify recurring break patterns, process inefficiencies, and control gaps; proactively recommend improvements to management.
  • Maintain up to date reconciliation procedure, controls documentation, and evidence to support internal reviews, audits, and regulatory requests.
Who You Are
  • Self-driven and process-oriented, able to own recurring operations and improve them over time.
  • Analytical and investigative, with the judgment to tell a timing difference from a real problem and the persistence to resolve it.
  • A strong communicator who can document findings, escalated clearly, and work cross-functionally with engineering and product.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of workstreams with limited direction.
What Experience We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or data related field (finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or similar).
  • 2 - 4 + years of experience in reconciliation, financial operations, or a related function within banking or financial services.
  • Interest in cryptocurrency and/or financial markets.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SQL / comfort querying data directly.
  • Hands-on experience with a reconciliation/matching platform (Gresham, Duco, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive them to completion independently.

We’re a small-sized team that’s growing fast, so everyone who joins iTrustCapital has a direct impact on the direction and success of the company. Today’s hires will be tomorrow’s leaders. We strive for an open, flat, collaborative, work-hard-play-hard environment.

  • We offer competitive compensation, medical, dental, vision and more.

The Fintech industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and our clients.
