Job summary

Relativity Space is building cutting-edge rockets at our Long Beach facility and invites engineers to help push the Terran R program forward. This role emphasizes hands-on hardware work, safety, and cross-team collaboration across propulsion, manufacturing, and software to accelerate testing and learning.

You will join a team focused on multi-disciplinary testing, developing reliable test assets, and delivering impactful results that shape the product and the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with pressurized flight components and hazardous energy sources.
• Proficient with office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems to support cutting-edge rocket testing.
• Develop and manage advanced data control systems for real-time monitoring and analysis.
• Provide expert guidance to engineers on testing best practices, system capabilities, and operational limitations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe and efficient testing environment.
• Create, maintain, and refine test plans and procedures to drive consistent and reliable testing outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues, improving hardware performance and test efficiency.
