Job summary

Relativity Space, headquartered in Long Beach, CA, seeks a hands‑on Test Specialist for the Factory Test team to design, build, and operate test infrastructure across TerranR components. You’ll perform assembly, calibration, and inspection of aerospace systems, contribute to multi‑project campaigns, and help scale testing for a rapidly growing launch program.

With 2+ years in aerospace testing or fabrication, you’ll troubleshoot with minimal supervision, read technical drawings, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in aerospace testing, fabrication, or a similar field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
• Strong team player with collaboration skills and initiative.
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of test tasks independently, including assembly, calibration, and inspection of aerospace systems and components.
• Take ownership of assigned portions of team projects and contribute to their successful completion.
• Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and testing with minimal supervision.
• Develop and refine ability to lead smaller tasks or sub‑projects within the team.
• Provide feedback to colleagues to improve quality and efficiency of work.
• Ensure test results are documented and reports completed in a timely manner.
