Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a hands-on professional to support the Factory Test team at our Long Beach facility. You will design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems for cutting-edge rocket testing, and develop real-time data control solutions with engineers.

The role emphasizes hazard mitigation, test planning, and resolving reliability issues to boost hardware performance. A first-shift schedule with overtime is provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of relevant technical experience in rocket/test environments.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic/pneumatic/hydraulic systems for rocket testing.
• Develop and manage advanced data control systems for real-time monitoring and analysis.
• Provide expert guidance to engineers on testing practices, system capabilities, and limitations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe testing environment.
• Create, maintain, and refine test plans and procedures for reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues to improve hardware performance.
