Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is building the Terran R rocket and expanding a test-focusedFactory Test team that exposes engineers to the full product lifecycle. The role involves hands-on aerospace testing, assembly, calibration, and inspection of systems and components on demanding test stands.

You will own portions of projects, troubleshoot with minimal supervision, and help shape the test infrastructure as the program scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on aerospace testing, fabrication, or a similar field.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Strong teamwork and effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of test tasks independently, including assembly, calibration, and inspection of aerospace systems and components.
• Take ownership of assigned portions of team projects and contribute to their successful completion.
• Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and testing with minimal supervision.
• Develop and refine ability to lead smaller tasks or sub-projects within the team.
• Provide feedback to colleagues to improve quality and efficiency of work.
• Ensure test results are documented and reports completed in a timely manner.
