Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of related technical experience.
• OEM supplier or manufacturer experience in heavy trucks/auto is a plus.
• Experience with pressurized gas systems (LIN/LOX/LAR) is a plus.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures where none exist.
• Design prototypes of cryogenic equipment.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Product Management, and Design Engineering to keep plans on schedule.
• Set up testing apparatus and data acquisition systems.
• Record and analyze data and write test reports.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Support prototype tank builds within project timelines.
• Ensure production documents are released and understood by production teams.
• Modify designs with 3D CAD with support from Design Engineer.
• Serve as customer point of contact for HLH2 vehicle fuel systems.
• Provide technical information for components and products.
• Follow the APQP process for new product introductions.
• Assist interdepartmental teams in evaluating manufacturability and tooling needs.
