Job summary

WestAir Gases & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to safely construct liquid and gaseous cryogenic supply systems at customer sites. You will work with project managers, sales teams, clients, and inspectors to ensure compliant installations.

You’ll install piping systems, perform site surveys, and handle fabrication and commissioning of cryogenic equipment while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of diagnostics and repair with cryogenic and high‑pressure piping.
• Knowledge of the gas industry and cryogenic cylinder maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read schematics diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains bulk and micro-bulk cryogenic installations (pumps, tanks, vaporizers, regulators, piping, compressors).
• Performs site surveys to ensure compliance with codes.
• Executes fabrication and installation of production equipment at facilities and sites.
• Repairs pressure reduction equipment in bulk delivery systems and electrical systems.
• Maintains stock of commonly used parts for customer base.
• Trains and coordinates with project managers and technicians as needed.
