Job summary

WestAir Gases & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to safely inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bulk and microbulk cryogenic systems at customer locations in California.

The role requires independent fieldwork, strong mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, leak testing, installing telemetry, and documenting service activities.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance on cryogenic systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test bulk and microbulk systems at customer sites.
• Install and test telemetry and monitoring equipment; identify leaks and repair.
• Prepare inspection reports and service documentation; maintain safety standards.
