Job summary

WestAir Gases & Equipment seeks a Field Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bulk and microbulk cryogenic systems at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, and teamwork in a full-time field setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, work with various cryogenic equipment, and communicate findings to customers and internal teams. A valid driver's license and strong mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school, trade certification, or associate degree preferred.
• Previous experience with cryogenic systems, industrial gases, pressure systems, or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment specifications, schematics, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual, periodic, and preventive maintenance inspections of bulk and microbulk systems to verify safe operation and compliance with applicable codes and company standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair cryogenic liquid and gaseous supply systems and components.
• Install, repair, test, and troubleshoot telemetry and monitoring equipment.
• Identify and repair system leaks using approved testing methods and safety procedures.
• Complete inspection reports, service records, and work orders.
