Job summary

Amentum in Titusville, FL seeks a skilled technician to independently operate and maintain cryogenic, hypergolic, and high/low pressure gas systems and propellant equipment, including corrosion control. You will modify, test, and certify equipment per drawings and standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, obtaining field measurements, and performing safety-conscious tasks with test gear, welding/soldering as needed, and logging activities. US citizenship or clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus four years experience.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and work safely on energized equipment.
• Florida Class A Hazardous CDL with X endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cryogenic, hypergolic, high/low pressure gas systems and propellant equipment.
• Fabricate and test high pressure lines and hoses; mix special gases.
• Perform corrosion control by painting and finishing equipment and panels.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, vendor manuals and applicable specs.
• Obtain measurements and field data; operate vehicles and shop tools.
• Conduct functional tests on refurbished equipment and ensure safety compliance.
