Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled technician to independently oversee the operations and maintenance of cryogenic, hypergolic, and high/low pressure gas systems and propellant equipment at Kennedy Space Center. You will perform refurbishing, testing, and certification of trailers, storage vessels, and related equipment.

The role requires the ability to read drawings, work from blueprints, and meet safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with four years experience; technical school ok.
  • Read and understand drawings; work safely on energized and de-energized equipment.
  • Must have Florida Class A CDL with X endorsement or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair cryogenic, hypergolic, high/low pressure gas systems and propellant equipment.
  • Fabricate and test high pressure lines and hoses; mix special gases as needed.
  • Perform corrosion control by painting and finishing panels and equipment.
  • Follow instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and vendor manuals to complete tasks.
  • Maintain logs, certifications, and compliance with safety and government regulations.
