Job summary

Linde Inc. in Curtis Bay, MD, is seeking a BAG Production Technician to safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant and ensure reliable, efficient performance.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, monitor performance, and adhere to safety policies while coordinating with teams and contractors. Ideal candidates bring experience in industrial environments, proficiency with mechanical/electrical/instrumentation systems, and skills in reading drawings and operating controls.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes or systems in an industrial setting with a strong safety focus.
• Proficiency with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with controls and HMI platforms such as Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
• Ability to read and revise engineering drawings including P&ID and wiring diagrams.
• Clear communication of technical information to support safe, coordinated teamwork.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms safely per procedures.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation.

Responsibilities

• You will safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
• Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that uphold plant safety and equipment integrity.
• Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety work policies and report incidents promptly.
• Collect and interpret data trends to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions.
• Oversee contractors performing routine and nonroutine work to ensure safety and quality.
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures and recommend improvements that enhance availability.
