Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication team. The role focuses on laying out, fitting, and welding pipe and structural components for cryogenic systems, using arc, GTAW-TIG, and submerged arc processes.

Individuals with 3+ years of related experience and a High School Diploma or GED are encouraged to apply. Safety, quality, and precision are essential as you fabricate per drawings and spec sheets, with opportunities to qualify for 6G welding positions and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred.
3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience with arc, GTAW-TIG, and submerged arc welding processes.
Commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Selects equipment and plans layout, assembles, and welds.
Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
Fabricates from sketches, blueprints or instructions.
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc, GTAW-ARC (TIG) or submerged arc welding.
