Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced welder to lay out, fit, and weld pipe and structural components used in the fabrication of piping and instrumentation assemblies. Candidates should be able to perform welding using arc, GTAW-TIG (TIG), submerged arc, and related processes, and assemble spool pieces per drawings and specs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (technical schooling preferred) and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical school preferred.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, fits, and welds pipe and structural components used in fabrication of frames and assemblies.
• Welds using arc, GTAW-TIG (TIG), submerged arc, or other company welding processes.
• Assembles spool pieces into final assemblies per drawings and specifications; inspects bead size and fit-up.
