Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking a Facilities Technician (Industrial Gases & Cryogenics) in Redondo Beach to install, maintain, and operate critical gas infrastructure. You will read P&IDs, interpret drawings, and ensure safe, efficient systems across our facilities and test sites.

Responsibilities include installing cryogenic distribution systems, reading schematics, troubleshooting high-pressure gas equipment, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics and drawings.
• Hands-on experience with medium- and high-pressure gas and cryogenic systems.
• Welding and tubing installation experience preferred.
• Commitment to safe work practices and OSHA/ NFPA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and modify industrial gas and cryogenic distribution systems.
• Install piping, valves, regulators, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair medium/high-pressure gas systems.
• Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, and verifications for safe operation.
• Document schematics, maintenance records, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and operations teams.
