GlobalFoundries is seeking a CryoCMOS Design Team Manager in Santa Clara to lead a multidisciplinary IC design group focused on cryogenic CMOS ICs and reusable IP. You will guide architecture, design, verification, tapeout, silicon bring-up, and characterization, coordinating with PDK, modeling, test, and packaging teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, Applied Physics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant semiconductor IC design experience with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading IC design teams, preferably multidisciplinary across analog, mixed-signal, RF, digital, and physical design.
• Experience leading complex IC development through architecture, design, verification, physical implementation, tapeout, silicon bring-up, and design-to-silicon correlation.
• Strong understanding of CMOS IC design, devices, design methodologies, physical implementation, verification, PVT variation, parasitics, and silicon characterization.
• Ability to manage multiple IC development activities, prioritize resources, mitigate risks, and deliver against schedule.
• Proven people leadership to recruit, mentor, and retain engineering talent.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams, customers, management, and senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a multidisciplinary CryoCMOS IC design team of 10–20 engineers and set technical direction, priorities, and resource plans.
• Drive end-to-end development of CryoCMOS ICs and reusable IP from system architecture to tapeout and bring-up.
• Provide technical leadership for complex IC development including design reviews and risk resolution.
• Develop differentiated IC solutions, reusable IP, and design methodologies for cryogenic, quantum, and advanced applications.
• Collaborate with PDK, modeling, tech development, test, packaging, and enablement teams to translate process capabilities into robust IC solutions.
• Establish and improve IC design processes, reviews, quality standards, and execution metrics for predictable tapeouts.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization through coaching and succession planning.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and ecosystem partners to translate system requirements into roadmaps and executable programs.
• Perform all safety and environment responsibilities and collaborate on other projects as needed.
