Job summary

Chart Industries’ Cryo Systems Engineering group in New Prague, MN designs and integrates cryogenic systems, from components to plant-level solutions, to meet customer specifications. This position supports engineering design, analysis, and field commissioning across projects.

Office-based with training, then a hybrid schedule; travel up to 10% may be required. Collaboration with suppliers and project teams ensures accurate BOMs and drawings, delivering optimized, safe systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in engineering, design, fabrication and commissioning of mechanical equipment in related industries.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3, ASME VIII-1, NFPA 52/59A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create plans, designs and customer solutions for assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs based on customer specifications.
• Perform calculations and analyses including fluid flow, heat leak, pressure, heat exchanger sizing.
• Assist designers with general arrangement and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to understand system requirements.
