Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit, NJ seeks a Team Lead, Value Stream Cryo Operations to lead a team of Specialists handling cryopreservation, movement, storage and control of patient materials used in manufacturing, and to operate LN2 storage systems at the CAR T facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, ALCOA+ principles, and manufacturing documentation practices.
• Experience with deviations, CAPAs, change control, and batch record systems (EBR/MES/SAP) preferred.
• Background in cell therapy, cryopreservation, or cold chain operations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute cell therapy production activities in cGMPs per SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead safety culture with routine Gemba walks.
• Oversee production documentation and BRR/EBR per ALCOA+.
• Maintain cryopreservation operations, LN2 storage, and inventory control.
• Manage patient material handling, tracking, and custody.
• Provide updates on production status and resources.
• Align team with site priorities and schedules.
• Track performance metrics through Tier meetings.
• Support training compliance and staffing needs.
• Collaborate with management and HR to build a high-performing team.
