Job summary

Montana Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a plant operator to manage production and load-out of materials from our Montana plants. You will ensure equipment operates safely, perform basic maintenance, and input production data into our systems. Welding skills are a plus, and adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Training and union membership may be required. Responsibilities include following production schedules, monitoring quality, and coordinating with supervision for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Reads work schedules and determines sequence of operations.
• Operates plant according to production schedule using appropriate materials.
• Monitors material operation to ensure quality of mix.
• Performs basic maintenance and service on plant as required.
• Welding or cutting torch skills preferred.
• Cleans control house and yard daily.
• Enters production information into computer systems.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
