Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Crusher Operator to oversee the safe, efficient running of primary and secondary crushers, screens, and conveyors. You will manage material flow, monitor production quality, and support cleaning and preventive maintenance in a heavy industrial quarry environment.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, teamwork, and reliable attendance, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Inspect crushers, conveyors, feeders, screens, and equipment at shift start and throughout the day.
• Monitor plant performance and adjust operations for safe, efficient production.
• Direct haul truck traffic and communicate dumping locations for material flow.
• Provide direction to Crusher Helpers and other staff for priorities and housekeeping.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs as trained.
• Report deficiencies, hazards, or any safety or environmental concerns to supervision.
