Lhoist North America is seeking a Crusher Helper to support crushing operations by cleaning, inspecting, and servicing crushers, screens, and conveyors to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations. The role emphasizes safety, proper housekeeping, and teamwork in a hot, dusty industrial quarry environment.

Responsibilities include assisting crusher operators, performing maintenance tasks, reporting issues, and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Safety-focused with ability to work in harsh environments.
• Willingness to learn and operate basic equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety requirements and policies.
• Keep conveyor systems, crushers, screens, and work areas clean and safe.
• Assist crusher operators by clearing obstructions and supporting production.
• Support maintenance activities including lubrication and inspections.
• Monitor belt alignment and assist with adjustments.
• Report equipment issues and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Participate in lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
• Perform duties efficiently with high housekeeping standards.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
