Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Crusher Operator to monitor and operate crushing plant equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality output. You'll manage crushers, conveyors, and related systems while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, data recording, and coordinating with support staff. The role requires basic tools use, teamwork, and flexibility in a quarry environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety, PPE compliance and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work safely in hot, dusty industrial environments.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and operate equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of crushers, conveyors, feeders and screens.
• Monitor plant performance and maintain production.
• Operate and troubleshoot to record production data and maintain flow.
• Direct haul truck traffic and ensure safe material handling.
• Perform routine servicing, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
